Well having that high Horsepower and acquiring a fully built Automatic Transmission equated into another problem. The hard shifts and torque puts extreme stress on the factory flex plate. The plate finally destroys itself, exploding into shrapnel in your bell housing and crank. So we came up with a heavy duty flex plate that is SFI approved and will hold your power.

This system will not warp like other common one piece heat shields. RPS CYN-R-G flywheels are highly engineered with these benefits like; dynamically balanced, crushed Heli Coil inserts, stepped dowel pins, and over-sized lock-down bolts that are welded to the ring gear for positive retention. Our flywheels are typically 10 to 15 pounds lighter than the factory units which allows up to 20 more HP to get to the wheels.
